- What is Uplyft Talent?
- Uplyft Talent is a tech-first, discipline-wide senior recruiting firm operating across Pakistan, Canada, and the United States. Our flagship practice is technical hiring — engineering, product, data, design, and technical leadership for AI-native companies. Around that core, we run senior searches across finance, sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership for operator businesses and specialized industries. Uplyft Talent is a Prosigns company.
- What does AI-native mean for Uplyft Talent's platform?
- It means the tools our recruiters use — sourcing automation, structured technical screening, candidate fit scoring, outreach orchestration — were built in-house by Prosigns engineers, not bolted on top of a generic CRM. The platform compresses the mechanical parts of recruiting so our human recruiters can focus on judgment-heavy work.
- Where does Uplyft Talent operate?
- Three cities as of 2026: Lahore (operating headquarters, Pakistan), Toronto (Canadian operations), and Austin (United States operations). Expansion to California and New York planned for 2028.
- How is Uplyft Talent different from a traditional recruitment agency?
- Three meaningful differences. One: our recruiters are technically literate — ex-engineers, technical PMs, and technical founders. Two: we run an AI-native platform that compresses sourcing and first-pass screening, so time-to-shortlist drops from 30 days to 10–14. Three: we operate across Pakistan, Canada, and the United States as a single firm — not three local agencies stitched together.

- Do you recruit for non-technical roles too, or only tech?
- Both. Technical recruiting is our flagship specialty — ex-engineer recruiters, structured technical screens, AI-native sourcing. Around that core we run senior searches in finance, sales, marketing, operations, people, and executive leadership. The screening disciplines change per function; the operating standard (written briefs, weekly updates, named senior recruiter, 90-day replacement guarantee) stays the same.
- How fast can you move?
- First shortlist for a standard senior role: 10–14 days. Executive search: 3–5 weeks to a shortlist. Urgent roles: we can go faster, but we won't pretend to — we'll tell you what's realistic on the intake call.
- Do you place contractors or full-time only?
- Both. Permanent placement, embedded retainers, and contract-to-hire. For pure contracting, we recommend being honest about that upfront so we can structure the engagement correctly.
- Which functions and roles do you cover?
- Technology is our flagship: Engineering (backend, frontend, mobile, infra, ML/AI, platform, security), Product (PM, PMM, research), Data (analytics, engineering, science), Design (product, systems), and Technical leadership (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Data, EM). Beyond tech, we run senior searches in Finance (CFO, VP Finance, Controller, FP&A leadership), Sales (VP Sales, Head of Revenue, RevOps leadership), Marketing (CMO, VP Marketing, Growth leadership), Operations (COO, VP Operations, Head of People, CHRO), and Executive leadership (CEO, General Manager, divisional presidents) for operator businesses and specialized industries. If your role is outside this, we'll tell you and refer you.
- What is Uplyft Talent's fee structure?
- Permanent placement: 18–25% of first-year base salary, success-fee only, payable on start with a 90-day replacement guarantee. Retained and embedded engagements have different structures — we'll walk through pricing on the intake call. No sticker shock, no hidden fees.
- Do you work with startups or enterprise?
- Both, with different service lines. Series A–D startups tend to use permanent placement and embedded retainers. Enterprise and scale-ups tend to use executive search and team-as-a-service. If we're not the right fit for your stage, we'll say so.
- Can Uplyft Talent help us hire across Pakistan, Canada, and the United States?
- Yes — that's a primary use case. We handle the recruiting; we coordinate with your local counsel or EOR for employment and compliance.
- Can we work with Uplyft Talent exclusively?
- Yes. Exclusivity comes with a reduced fee and a committed timeline. Most of our repeat clients work with us exclusively on key roles.
- What happens if the hire doesn't work out?
- Within 90 days: free replacement search. Day 91–180: reduced fee replacement. We don't play lawyer games with these — if we delivered a bad match, we own it.
For candidates

- How does Uplyft Talent find me a role?
- Three ways. You apply to a specific open role (fastest path if we have the right fit). You join our talent network and we reach out when something matches. Or a recruiter contacts you directly about an active search — in which case they'll tell you which client, what the role is, and what the comp is.
- Do candidates pay any fees to Uplyft Talent?
- No. Never. Employers pay us; candidates pay nothing. If anyone claiming to represent Uplyft Talent asks you for money, it is a scam. Report it to candidate-rights@uplyft.pk.
- What happens to my data at Uplyft Talent?
- It stays with us. We don't sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for anything beyond matching you to roles. You can request deletion at any time via candidate-rights@uplyft.pk and we'll action within 30 days.
- Do you work with international candidates?
- Yes. We place candidates across Pakistan, Canada, and the United States — local roles, remote roles, and cross-border roles. Visa sponsorship depends on the specific employer; we'll tell you upfront on any given role.
- Can I apply to multiple roles?
- Yes. If you're a strong match for multiple roles, we'll tell you which one to prioritize and why.
- What if I'm not a senior candidate?
- We focus on mid-to-senior and above. If you're a junior-level candidate, we're not the right fit today — but we'd rather tell you that than waste your time. Check back in 2–3 years.
- I got a message from "Uplyft Talent" asking for money, my CNIC, my passport, or a fee — what do I do?
- That is not us. Report it immediately to candidate-rights@uplyft.pk. We never ask candidates for money or personal identification documents at the sourcing stage.
